Who We Are
Mano Palm Oil Industries (MPOI) is a leading agribusiness company operating in Liberia, committed to responsible palm oil production that drives economic growth, environmental stewardship, and community development. Headquartered in Monrovia, MPOI oversees over 13,000 hectares of oil palm plantations across Bomi, Grand Cape Mount, Lofa, and Zodua Estate.
Our operations are vertically integrated — from plantation to mill — enabling us to maintain strict quality standards and full traceability across the value chain. Our mill in Grand Cape Mount processes up to 45 metric tons of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) per hour, producing high-quality crude palm oil (CPO) and crude palm kernel oil (CPKO) for both local and international markets.
As part of our long-term growth strategy, MPOI is currently building Liberia’s first palm oil refinery, a landmark investment that will significantly increase local value addition. The refinery is expected to be fully operational by 2026, reinforcing our commitment to industrial development and economic self-reliance.
MPOI is a proud member of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and is actively working toward certification. Sustainability and traceability are core to our business model — we are investing in robust systems and practices to ensure that our operations meet the highest environmental and social standards, while offering our partners full visibility into the origin of our products.
